Italian trade unions expect Stefana decision by 12 June
The fate of troubled Italian steelmaker Stefana is expected to be decided between 29 May and 12 June, Kallanish learns from local trade union sources.
The news follows a meeting held at the Italian Ministry of Development (Mise) on the 25 May. Union representatives discussed the future of the company with Stefana’s majority shareholder, the Ghidini family, as well as several political representatives.
