Southern European output increases as French, UK falls

French crude steel output fell in May by almost -19% year-on-year to 1.1 million tonnes. Output also fell by almost -13% y-o-y over the first five months of the year to 5.9mt. Following the 14.5% increase recorded in April, Italian crude steel output rose 9.3% y-o-y to 2.1mt in May.
