French stainless scrap flattens
French stainless steel scrap prices remain mostly flat on-month in France, unlike other EU countries such as Italy where stainless scrap values are increasing. Prices in the UK continue to be at some €60/tonne ($64) cheaper than in the rest of Europe, buyers and sellers confirm.
