French longs market stagnates, rebar slightly better
The French long steel market is still struggling. According to some sources, there seems to be a surge in rebar orders in the Paris area, possibly due to the upcoming Olympic Games.
The increase in rebar orders, however, has a limited geographic scope. Buyers in other parts of France do not observe any noteworthy improvement in activity, Kallanish notes.
