FMG posts update on FY16 iron ore production
Australia’s Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) has clarified its position on the volume of iron ore that it has shipped in its 2016 financial year.
This follows “… speculation regarding Fortescue’s annual production for FY 16,” the miner says in a note to the Australian Securities Exchange monitored by Kallanish.
In the March quarterly production report FMG advised that shipments were ahead of target due to the unseasonal mild weather…
