Formosa looks for partners at Ha Tinh
Taiwan’s Formosa Plastics Group says it is still looking for new partners to invest in its Formosa Ha Tinh steelworks in Vietnam. Capex requirements increased sharply after a spill of toxic waste water caused a major environmental crisis in 2016, but the plant is now operating and fills an important gap in the local market, Kallanish notes.
