Formosa Ha Tinh lifts coil prices
Vietnam’s Formosa Ha Tinh has hiked its coil offer prices by $15-20/tonne for March shipments, a month after it slashed prices. The hike leaves it higher than current spot import prices, but these too appear to be bottoming out, Kallanish notes.
For March shipments, SAE1006 re-rolling grade coils are priced at $495/t cif. SPHT3, S235JR, SG255 and SS490 grade coils are priced at $515/t, while hot rolled band without skin pass is priced at $490/t. …
