Formosa Ha Tinh steelworks still lacks start date
Vietnam’s major new Taiwan-invested steelworks, Formosa Ha Tinh, has not set a new schedule for its official start-up. This comes after it finally admitted that the blast furnace no. 1 would not make its 25 June commissioning target. The company has had a complex relationship with authorities and reports suggest the plant may still be lacking a permit to start.
