Formosa Ha Tinh eyes March blast furnace start
Taiwan’s Formosa Plastics Group hopes to start up the first blast furnace at its Formosa Ha Tinh steelworks project in Vietnam in March-April this year, several months behind schedule. The plant has already produced its first test hot rolled coil however and has overcome a series of challenges to begin production, Kallanish notes.
