Formosa Ha Tinh confirms third blast furnace study
Vietnam’s Formosa Ha Tinh has confirmed that it will carry out a feasibility study into investing in a third blast furnace starting in 2019. The Taiwanese-invested plant became Vietnam’s first major blast furnace-based hot rolled coil producer when it commissioned the first of two operating furnaces in 2016, Kallanish notes.
