Formosa Ha Tinh approved to test blast furnace
Formosa Ha Tinh has been given approval by the Vietnamese environment ministry to begin testing its blast furnace prior to commercial production, according to local reports. The news puts the plant on track to begin steelmaking in the second half of this year, Kallanish notes.
