Formosa starts blast furnace
Vietnam’s Formosa Ha Tinh has blown in its first blast furnace after two years of delays. Reports say the plant is being carefully monitored to ensure it does not repeat a major environmental disaster triggered by its wastewater in early 2016, Kallanish notes.
