FMG terminates power plant contract
Australian miner FMG says it has notified TransAlta that it is terminating a contract to purchase power from a recently built power plant. The miner has previously said that it would continue to buy power from other plants because the new plant had failed to satisfy the performance criteria of the contract, Kallanish notes.
