FMG delivers record iron ore shipments
Australian miner FMG reported record iron ore shipments of 49.3 million wet metric tonnes for the June quarter (FQ4) and 182.2mt for the fiscal year 2021 (FY21), exceeding annual guidance of 182m wmt, Kallanish notes.
During the financial year, FMG mined 226.9m wmt of iron ore, up 11% year-on-year. Ore processed only came to 185.8m wmt, however, an increase of 5%.
