FMG advances Eliwana, Christmas Creek and Solomon developments
Australian mining company Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) has announced the addition of new construction at Christmas Creek and Solomon mines. The Eliwana project meanwhile is on track for first shipment in December, Kallanish notes.
The Eliwana project includes a 30 million tonne/year dry processing facility and a 143km rail line. The 22m t/y Iron Bridge magnetite concentrate project meanwhile is also expected to ship its first ore in the first half of 2022.
