Flats, semis spur Turkish export growth
Turkish steel exports rose 45% on-year in November to 2.5 million tonnes, while imports decreased -40% to 886,000t, according to a Turkish Steel Producers Association (TCUD) note seen by Kallanish.
Flat products drove the export growth with a 134.1% surge to 765,000t, while longs exports rose only 1.8% in November to 1mt. Semis exports also provided impetus, soaring 481% to 277,000t.
