Flats drive Turkey's January-October finished steel output growth
Turkish finished steel production rose 4.6% year-on-year to 32.3 million tonnes in the ten months through October, supported by flat steel output growth, Kallanish notes from data by the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD).
Flats production increased 21% y-o-y to 10.7mt, while longs production declined -2.1% to 21.5mt in the reviewed period, TCUD says in a statement.
