Flat shipments, pricing to come in Q3: Reliance
Flat steel pricing and shipment volumes will likely characterise the third quarter, says US service centre chain Reliance Steel & Aluminum.
Continued improvement in the construction and auto sectors will be offset by further declines in aerospace and energy, exacerbated by normal seasonality, the company says. As a result, third-quarter tons sold will be sideways-to-up about 2%, the company says.
