Firm prices, production ramp-up seen boosting Sail profitability
Steel Authority of India (Sail)’s Ebitda/tonne should almost double on-year in the fiscal year through March 2019 (FY19) to INR 6,000/t ($87). This will be thanks to healthy sales prices, coupled with range-bound coking coal prices, and efficiency improvement resulting from production ramp-up and raw materials cost optimisation.
