Fire halts cold rolling line at Ahmsa
Altos Hornos de México (Ahmsa) has halted maintainance work and production at its cold rolling mill number 2 due to a fire this week, Kallanish learns from the company.
According to the steelmaker, the fire started accidentally in the Mesta-Hitachi mill during maintenance work, affecting operation of continuous casting machine number 4.
