Ferrum leads consortium to modernise ArcelorMittal Poland converter
A consortium led by Polish structural steel fabricator ZKS Ferrum and containing technology supplier Primetals has been contracted to modernise one of ArcelorMittal Poland (AMP)’s basic oxygen furnaces, Kallanish learns. The revamp, for which Ferrum is being paid PLN 11 million ($2.8m), will be completed in November 2016.
