Ferrexpo contracts Metso Outotec for pellet plant expansion
Metso Outotec has signed an agreement for the delivery of equipment for the expansion of Ferrexpo’s iron ore pellet plant in central Ukraine.
The value of the equipment is €18 million ($20m), Kallanish notes. The scope of delivery consists of equipment for major modifications to the traveling grate, rotary kiln, and annular cooler. It will increase the production line’s capacity to over 6 million tonnes/year of iron ore pellet.
