Ferrexpo sees 9-month pellet production fall
Swiss-headquartered iron ore company Ferrexpo, with assets in Ukraine, saw its pellet production decrease year-on-year both in the third quarter and over the first nine months of 2017.
In its 9-month production report monitored by Kallanish, the company says that total pellet production from its own iron ore fell by -8.1% to 8.3 million tonnes over January to September. Q3 output also fell, by -1.3% to 2.49mt from 2.53mt in Q2.
