Ferrexpo reduces pellet output in August
Swiss-headquartered iron ore miner and pellet producer Ferrexpo with assets in Ukraine saw production of iron ore pellet increase in January-August. The company produced 7.4 million tonnes, up by 1% on-year, Kallanish notes.
In August alone, the company produced 870,000 tonnes of pellet, down by 11.2%. In July, production of pellet amounted to 1mt, up by 28.2% (see Kallanish passim).
