Ferrexpo ramps up railway shipments to Europe
Swiss-headquartered iron ore miner and pellet producer Ferrexpo with assets in Ukraine increased product shipments by rail to Europe in January-November, according to data from Ukrainian railway operator Ukrzaliznytsya.
The railway deliveries increased by 46% on-year to 3.3 million tonnes, Kallanish notes. However, shipments of products to other countries fell by 18.6% to 6.9mt.
