Ferrexpo increases pellet output, sales after overhauls
Swiss-headquartered iron ore mining and pellet producer Ferrexpo with assets in Ukraine increased production of pellet by 7% on-year in 2020 to 11.2 million tonnes, Kallanish notes.
The production of pellet with 65% Fe content increased by 8% to 10.8mt. However, the output of low-quality premium 62% Fe pellet decreased by -76% on-year to 98,000 tonnes. 67% Fe production was 339,000t, while in 2019 this product was not produced.
