Feralpi’s German mill commissions new equipment
Elbe-Stahlwerke Feralpi (ESF), the German rebar mill of Italy’s Feralpi group in Riesa on the Elbe river, is about to start up new equipment installed in the course of 2020.
The mill traditionally takes a four-week break in winter for most facilities, also to make progress with maintenance and upgrading work. The melting shop restarted on 25 January, while wire rod and rebar production were resumed earlier.
