Fangchenggang starts pelletizing installation
The Guangxi Fangchenggang steel base owned by Liugang began on 8 December to install equipment for its iron ore pelletizing project, Kallanish notes.
The installation will be completed by MCC5, including facilities for ventilation, dust removal, the baking workshop and pipelines. Pellet design capacity is 4 million tonnes/year. Operation is scheduled to start by the end of the year, in line with the blast furnace ironmaking project.
