Ezz Steel receives Brazil iron ore cargo
Ezz Steel received a 154,000-tonne cargo of iron ore pellet from Vale Brazil last week, the Egyptian steelmaker confirms to Kallanish. The consignment was delivered on the Dong A Eos bulk carrier to Ain Sokhna Port.
The pellet will be used to feed the 1.85 million tonnes/year capacity direct reduced iron plant at Ezz Rolling Mills (ERM)’s second site in Ain Sokhna, commissioned in late 2015.
