Ezz Steel deliveries rebound in third quarter
Ezz Steel’s consolidated steel shipments rebounded in the third quarter – from a record Covid-19-induced low in Q2 – to 1.04 million tonnes. This was still, however, below Q1 sales of 1.27mt.
The Egyptian steelmaker nevertheless reduced consolidated Q3 net sales by -8% on-year to EGP 8.63 billion ($550.5 million), although net loss narrowed 28% to EGP 1.34 billion.
