Ezz could raise rebar output following duties: reports
Ezz Steel could raise rebar production to its maximum capacity of 4.6 million tonnes/year if tariffs on rebar imports continue, Ezz Steel marketing director George Matta tells Reuters.
Earlier this month Egypt imposed 10-27% preliminary anti-dumping duties for four months on imports of rebar and wire rod from China, Turkey and Ukraine (see Kallanish 7 June).
