Exports support Turkey’s Q1 motor vehicle output
Turkish motor vehicle production rose 3% year-on-year to 346,072 units in the first quarter, Turkey’s Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) says. Increased exports offset the decline in domestic market sales during the period, Kallanish notes from an OSD report.
First-quarter passenger car production increased 5% on-year to 207,996 units and commercial vehicle output rose 1% to 138,076, OSD says in its monthly report.
