Exports support Borusan's January-September earnings growth
Borusan Mannesmann's revenue and profits increased notably in January-September as exports grew, while the drop in domestic sales dragged down total sales volumes, Kallanish notes from the Turkish pipemaker's interim report.
Consolidated nine-month revenue grew 40.3% on-year to TRY 2.02 billion ($521 million). Operating profit increased to TRY 244m from TRY 152m a year ago, and net profit doubled to TRY 183.9m.
