Exports drive KIOCL sales surge despite lockdown

State-owned Indian pellet maker KIOCL reported a 126% on-year surge in June quarter iron ore pellet sales to 568,000 tonnes. This was also above its target of 450,000t. Exports accounted for 521,000t. June-quarter production surged 104% to 511,000t, above the target of 490,000t, Kallanish notes.
