Evraz’s Uskovskaya mine hits output milestone
Russia’s Uskovskaya mine, part of steelmaker Evraz, was the first among Raspadskaya’s units to reach a significant mark in coking coal production in January-April, the company says.
The enterprise mined 1 million tonnes of coal from two mining sites, Kallanish notes.
In February the company completed mining of longwall 50-22 and launched a new longwall, 50-24.
