Uskovskaya coking coal mine hits output milestone
Russia’s Uskovskaya mine, part of steelmaker Evraz, was the first among Raspadskaya’s units to reach 2 million tonnes of coking coal production in January-October, the company says.
Uskovskaya mine is now completing the development of coal seam 50. In November, miners will move to a new promising seam 48. The site's balance reserves are 167 million tonnes.
