Evraz ZSMK to increase VD unit productivity
Evraz’s ZSMK steelworks has ordered from Danieli Centro Met a 'Q-TEMP VD Technological Package'. This will enable continuous liquid steel temperature monitoring in the existing vacuum degassing (VD) unit without the necessity of vacuum killing.
The new unit will mean constant increased temperature measurement quality, thereby reducing treatment cycle and increasing VD productivity, Danieli says.
