Evraz, USW sign new Pueblo labour contract
The United Steelworkers labour union has inked a new five-year deal with Pueblo, Colorado, steelmaker Evraz Rocky Mountain Steel – paving the way for a new rail mill, Kallanish reports.
The agreement covers 750 union members at the facility and will expire 10 September, 2022.
A secure new labour agreement was a condition for Evraz’s expansion in the US, says USW District 12 director Bob LaVenture.
