Evraz supplies iron ore pellet to Turkey
Evraz Kachkanarskiy GOK (Evraz KGOK) has shipped iron ore pellet to Turkish steelmaker Kardemir, the Russian firm says. Deliveries amount to 100,000 tonnes, Kallanish notes. Shipments were made by rail and sea transport.
The pellet Fe content was no less than 60.9%, the strength exceeded 180 kg/pellet, and the fines content was no more than 10-12%, Evraz KGOK says. At least 75% of the shipped pellet are of +10 grade.
