Evraz strengthens exports with Mongolia rail delivery
Russian miner and steelmaker Evraz’s ZSMK works has produced and shipped more than 76,000 tonnes of rail to Mongolia, the company says.
Of these, 56,000t of R65 type rails of DT350 category are intended for the construction of the Tavan-Tolgoi-Zuunbayan railway, Kallanish notes.
Another 20,000t were delivered under a contract with Russian Railways for the current maintenance of the tracks of joint Russian-Mongolian enterprise Ulan-Bator Railway.
