Evraz ships 10,000 tonnes pellet to USS Kosice
Evraz’s Kachkanar (KGOK) pelletising plant has shipped 10,000 tonnes of above 60% Fe iron ore pellet to US Steel Kosice (USSK) in Slovakia, Kallanish learns from the Russian steelmaker.
In the first quarter KGOK exported over 60,000t of pellet. Besides Europe, its key export markets are Turkey and China. Evraz produces blast furnace-grade pellet for use in pig iron production in BFs.
