Evraz reduces costs with new vanadium plant
Russian miner and steelmaker Evraz has begun the construction of a new vanadium plant in the Uzlovaya Special Economic Zone, Tula region, the company says.
The goal of the project is to increase efficiency of vanadium production and reduce costs through coordination and control of the entire production chain. This goes for the supply and processing of vanadium slag, as well as the release of marketable products, the enterprise claims.
