Evraz raises 100m rail shipments to Russian Railways
Evraz will increase its supply of 100m rail to Russian Railways by 60% on-year in 2017 to 240,000 tonnes, Kallanish learns from the Russian steelmaker. Overall rail shipments to this recipient will reach 700,000 this year.
Rail will be produced at Evraz’s ZSMK and NTMK plants. So far in 2017 these have shipped 200,000t of rail to Russian Railways, of which 45,000t were long, 100m rail.
