Evraz triples profit despite lower output

Russia's second largest vertically integrated steelmaker and miner Evraz posted its highest earnings since 2008, according to ceo Alexander Frolov. The group’s crude steel output fell -7% year-on-year to 13 million tonnes in 2018, after it sold its Ukrainian steelworks in March, and cut output at Evraz ZSMK during a blast furnace overhaul in August-December.
