New lines lift Evraz ZSMK wire capacity
Russian steelmaker Evraz’s ZSMK works has commissioned two new drawing mills, which will increase the production of thin-diameter wire that is in demand on the market, the company says.
The new equipment was installed at the rough drawing section of ZSMK’s steel rolling shop. It allows for the production of high-quality wire of thin, 2.2-3.6mm diameter.
