Evraz improves sinter quality, output with new technology
Evraz Kachkanarskiy GOK (Evraz KGOK) intends to change its sinter production technology and introduce baked lime of its own production into the sintering process, partly replacing raw limestone. This will increase sinter output by 400,000 tonnes/year to 4 million t/y.
Total investment in the project will exceed RUB 1 billion ($13.7 million), Kallanish notes.
