Evraz confirms monthly billet shipments deal for Philippines
Russia’s Evraz has supplied more details of its billet deal with rebar producer Steel Asia in the Philippines (see Kallanish 31 May).
In a note sent to Kallanish, the Russian steelmaker confirms that it will ship 50,000 tonnes/month of billet to Steel Asia’s rolling mills. The first shipment will be a lot of 30,000 tonnes, Evraz says.
