Evraz aims for larger piece of American market
Russian steelmaker Evraz hopes to increase its market share in North America across the board in 2017 following rocky market conditions in 2016, Kallanish learns from the company’s annual review.
Evraz saw its US steel consumption fall -4.2% on year to 91.2 million tonnes. Long product demand fell -2.4%, flat product demand fell -1.6%, and tubular demand fell -30.2%.
