Evraz agrees 3.2mt Russian Railways rail supply deal
Evraz has signed an agreement to supply 3.2 million tonnes of rail to Russian Railways (RZD) over five years from 19 February 2018. The RUB 111.7 billion ($1.98 billion) deal provides for formula-based pricing.
Evraz’s supplies to RZD include rail for high-speed mixed traffic, low-temperature resistant rail, rail with higher wear resistance and switch point rail. The agreement provides for a gradual increase in the supply of 100m rail to 360,000t by 2…
