Europe drives up Turkish scrap imports in January-November
Turkish scrap imports increased 18% in January-November, thanks to a growth in supplies from the European Union, Kallanish understands from the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD).
Eleven-month scrap imports totalled 18.9 million tonnes and their total value surged 53.8% to $5.5 billion, the association says in a statement.
